I am 42 and have smoked pot on a regular basis since I was 6 years old. 10/12/12 i got suspended from work for pissing dirty. I have been at this job for 7 years and no job issues. Random testing was rolled out 2 years ago. My comptroller told me that with a script I would be okay. Apparently not. The policy clearly states "prohibited by law". It is legal in WA and I have a script. I found a case on line from one of the firms that my employer uses. They state to be clear and precise in the policies. Obviously my employer has not read that case. Even the HR representative I talked to said by having a script I should be okay. My script is for nausea and vomiting, due to stress, as I have all other medical tests done. The place I work can be very stressful. I have even been taken to the hospital via ambulance, thinking I was having a heart attack. It was stress. Can anyone give me some attorney names that work for payment upon winning the case? I am looking for hostile work environment. My doctor at the time suggested going to my comptroller. I did and I can't say that the environment has changed much. The supervisors are rude and fouled mouthed when you ask questions. My supervisor shared my personal information of being gay with a co worker and the the whole office knew. At the beginning of this year our company rolled a policy on behaviors. It strictly forbids gambling on the premises. Then 1 week later the CFO came around with super bowl pool. He bought a few squares and so did the head of HR. Can they selectively follow which policies they want to? I haven't been turned down for STD yet, but I would also like some help in securing this if I am denied. My work also has LTD, and from what I have researched it can be months before I pee clean again, so if necessary help me access this too.
