So I don't have a lump I'm throat but when I burp it's a slight feeling in the middle rleft side of my throat and it's weird. Just wondering what it is and if any smokers have felt this before. I only feel it when I burp and it doesn't hurt bad but it's aggravating and I want to know if it's serious..

Hi,

you didn't say for how long are you smoking, but I have been smoking for the 10+ years and I haven't experienced anything like what you described.

Depending on for how long this has been happening, it might be caused by something as simple as an irritation inside your throat or start of tonsil infection. Usually your throat gets irritated if you have heartburn or acid reflux after heavy, fatty or spicy meals. But, like I mentioned, depending both on how long have you been smoking and how old are you, it still would be a best idea for your physician to examine your throat and mouth area, especially since you say the condition is aggravating. Even if it's just caused by heartburn or tonsillitis, its best you get treated for those the sooner the better.
