So I have a linsfranc fracture :(

Hey everyone! On the 18th of march I was walking down the stairs to the bathroom, missed the bottom step & landed on my right foot, heard a horrible crunching sound & had allot of pain. So it was off to the Hospital we go! Took over 8 hours of waiting before the 'foot doctor' came by & decided what to do with me lol, he decided on surgery & admitted me to hospital. I was in hospital for 4 days because they couldn't decide whether to do the surgery. I was released with a half plaster cast with an appointment for the fracture clinic for a week later. I am now in fibreglass cast for 6 weeks (next appointment on the 2nd of may) Which the doctor told me that the cast is coming off for more X-rays. I have no idea if I will end up with a new cast or a walking boot. *we will see how it goes, this is a very serious injury* comment from the doc didnt put my spirits up there lol I'm a stay at home mum with a very active 2 year old, my partner cannot take anymore time off work & goes back tomorrow :/ I have no idea how I'm going to cope with crutches & a 2 year old! I just want this to be over with!
