Ten days ago I woke up with a feaver blister and also some little pus looking bumps on the outside of my gum. I wear an upper plate and have a ten cap permanant bridge on the bottom. I also had a pus bump on the little fleshy point that is in the middle of my gum, it was about the size of the head of a kitchen match. I tried salt water rinses and ambisol, none of these things seem to help. When I finally got some abrivia and started using it three or four times a day it did get better and is almost completely gone. But I still don't know what it was and what caused it. I just hope does not come back.

Are you sure it was a "puss bump"? It's more likely a canker sore, they are quite common under dentures that don't fit well and are an indication of where the plate needs to be ground away to relieve the pressure. I usually get several of them after getting new dentures.
