my friend has a sore on her vagina ,... She is scared, and doesnt know what it could be , She is 14 and not sexually active.. She is embarresed to tell her mom, so she told me, She says it is on the inner walls and near the bottom of her vagina... Any idea's of what this could be?? Thanks!

It would help if you described a little bit more how does the sore look like – what size is it, what color, does it hurt or itch… etc. Since she is not sexually active chances are very small for it to be some kind of sexually transmitted disease, but there still are some chances that it could be herpes because it can be transferred even without sexual intercourse. It also could be some kind of infection – to find exactly what kind and to be sure to get the right treatment there really is no option but to see a doctor – how else could it go away?
