My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 8 months. I got off my period a week ago then I had a very small amount of spotting. I have been looking it up all afternoon and came up with Ovulation bleeding and implantation bleeding. We have had intercourse every day or every other day for months. I think that I ovulate early every month, like a week after but my period still doesn't come until day 26. I have a 3 yr. old already and my gyno says that everything is ok but I just can't get pregnant! Please help!

If you are concerned about a miscarriage due to the spotting a week after your period, it is highly unlikely. The spotting could be some residual from your recent period.
Had you been on the pill or some form of contraception prior to the 8 months of trying to conceive? If so, that could be the reasoning behind the length in lack of conception. I have a friend who tried for years and then finally it happened. Don't give up! Do you have a good relationship with your doctor? Have they discussed referring you to a fertility specialist or are they just encouraging you to continue with current methods? Sometimes they have a lot more patience than we do. Good luck!

No, I'm not thinking miscarriage. I haven't been on any birth control in years. My doctors says everything seems normal and we will talk about fertility treatments after I have tried a for a year. I was thinking maybe I was spotting from ovulation and that's what it was from but I didn't know if you can ovulate a week after your period. I am just very confused.
