I am five days late on having a mentral cycle, I have been spotting brown colored for the last 3 days but only spoting sometimes when I wipe. I do not take birth control. Is there an illness that could cause this or is it possibly pregnancy.

your options are to take a home pregnancy test and/or see your GYn... Spotting isn't usually considered a period and is normal in early pregnancy (there are some STD's that can cause spotting too so if your test is negative it might be best to see your doc t obe safe.) Good luck
