This type of cancer is often caused by prolonged exposure to the sunlight, but also radiation therapy,
Skin irritation and of course genetic factors. It occurs on skin, mouth, lungs and is important because of its ability to metastasize. It develops on mucosal membranes of the body, like lips, throat, and esophagus and inside the mouth. It can be surgically removed.
