About 7 years ago, I had gall bladder surgery (I am now 20), and ever since, I suffer from terrible cramps on the upper right side stomach area. It’s like when you get a cramp on your leg while running or swimming. It is very painful, and it usually happens when I put to much force on my core area. If I laugh to hard, cough too hard exercise too hard, etc., my stomach will cramp up so bad. I have gotten to the point where my body fears the cramp and will instinctively avoid any position or movement that could cause it. Seven years of this miserable side effect. Sometimes I wonder if something happened during my surgery because I don’t really feel like other people’s cramps are like mine (then again, what do I know?). Does anybody know what I can do to help this go away? I plan on going back to the doctor but fear they’ll say it’s too late to help. I really want to start working out but every time I do, the cramp comes and destroys my ability to continue. Any help is greatly appreciated!
