I believe you, as I am currently going through the very same thing. I am a 42 yr old male and have already had my right kidney removed due to cancer. I have been looking high and low on the internet for possible cause and effects of what I have been feeling. I also had back surgery a couple years ago before they found the cancer, so sometimes it is difficult to discearn what is really the problem. I am constantly taking hydrocodone for my back and I know that one of the side effects and be stomach pain, but when I noticed that it looked like blood in my stool, I looked a little closer and found that there appeared to be a mucus type of substain as well. From what I've seen so far, things seems to point back to the pancreas. I don't like to go to the doctor since I go so much for follow-ups, but it looks like it's time to go again. Sounds like you might want to do the same.

AFter reading your posts, I wanted to add something that I feel may assist. Have you ever thought of going to see a naturopath? I am 42yrs old and I have gone for the first time in my life this year 2009 (my son was the patient) - I am amazed by what he is able to do and how general medicine fails us at times. I was always very pro western medicine, I had a father who survived lung cancer, prostate cancer and sarcoma in the leg bone and died of a 10cm tumor in his back (the only time he had chemotherapy), all cancers were primary. !8mths later I nursed my Mum 24/7 who was diagnosed with gallbladder cancer 29/6/07 died 12/10/07. I was administering dilaudit (spelling?) and liasing with palliative care doctors, home nurses and when I could no longer maintain a quality of life for her at home, she went to hospital and slept there in the private room with her - what a blessing we both had. Anyway I suppose what I am saying is having had a very solid relationship with western medicine, I am finding there is a strength in naturopaths. Maybe it is just the naturopath I am seeing, 20yrs experience, is also qualified accupuncturist, homeopathist, chiropractor - he is amazing. There is an amazing change in my son. Maybe worth a try- good luck and I hope you are pain free by the time you read this. P.S. another interesting thought, did you by any chance have a vaccination for anything up to a month before this happened?
