I am almost always nauseated and am a lot of times accompanied with really bad belly pain. The stomach pain is either just above the belly button, below or on the right side of my belly (this ride sided pain doesn't happen as often.) It's hard to explain what the pain feels like but it can have me in the fetal position for hours. Everything has been happening since around the beginning of this year and keeps getting worse. Now my belly is also tender to the touch. I also get diarreah in between sometimes that can last from 1-3 days. With all of this, I am eating less and less. Either my belly is in too much pain/nausea, I am not hungry, or afraid to eat because eating will usually make the pain/nausea worse. I get full very easily when I do eat. I usually have about two bowel movements a week and every single time I have one, the belly pain gets REALLY bad afterwards, I would think the worst, no matter if it was hard to go or not. I noticed bright red bleeding once, in the stool and on tissue paper.
So, as the doctors cannot figure this out, I continue eating less and less and loosing more and more. I went from weighing somewhere around 125-130 to 104 (my weight now.) I am very worried and I am 5' 7'' tall. So as you would imagine I look extremely skinny and bony. My stomach is going "inward." It's scary. I am afraid of wasting away. And of course I hardly have any energy anymore.
Does anyone have any stories to share, any ideas, anything? I have been searching all over the place. So far I have had a Stomach Emptying study done and a Colon Transit Study and of course blood work. All I was told came out normal. I have been to a few different doctors (one a gastrointestinal) and I feel like something serious is wrong that they aren't catching. .javascript:emoticon('!')
Thanks.

Hi, I'm so sorry, I didn't see any notification in my inbox that someone had replied to my post, but I was very sick. With even more further research, I was almost sure I had colon cancer, so you are right on the money. But it wasn't. What ended up happening is that I got so ill that one night I spiked a fever of 104 and in emmense pain and was rushed to the ER. It took a very special dr to figure it out, but he said right away after a quick exam, "You need to have your gall bladder taken out. You need to get into surgery right away." Thing was, the pain wasn't in the typical place as it should have been, and, the gall bladder had actually ruptured. When I was admitted, all the drs were really stumped and confused at the black junk, for lack of a better word, that they were seeing on the special x-ray machines (takes an hour to finish, they re-did it 3 times and I wasn't allow ANY pain medication. The pain was on a scale of 100!! It was utter HELL.) In short, my body was being poisoned. My gall bladder had stopped completely. They had never seen this before. They had trouble getting the gall bladder out too, as they found I had hundreds of cysts inside my abdomen and they almost couldn't get it out! They have no clue about why the cysts are there.
Anyway, after the long and painful recovery, I felt so much better and was eating more than ever! I gained weight, looked healthy. I could actually finish a meal!! I was so happy. My symptoms were all gone, just the pain from the surgery. This was only short-lived though, to my surprise and disappointment. I thought I was cured of the problems I was having, but soon (a few months later) I was not eating well again and similar symptoms came back. I have been back to other drs and they are stumped. I give up! I guess I have to wait until another emergency for them to realize something is seriously wrong still and figure it out. I do have other health problems, so I have quite a lot going on to say the least. My grandfather who died 3 years ago had cancer in the colon (stemmed from bladder cancer.) And I have an Uncle that is scared that he might have it too. So, only time will tell I guess. :P What about the similar symptoms you were having that you originally wrote in your reply? Are you ok? Was yours solved?
p.s. Why the Hell would so many people "dislike" my post?? How freakin stupid!! I was seriously ill!! They said if it had been any longer that I would have died! And if they did that because my post was not helpful, well, it's because "I" was the one that needed help!
