Stomach pains after c-section

I had my daughter 3 monthes ago. The delivery ended in a c-section. Since then I have really bad stomach pains while eating. Sometimes it even hurts into my back. I did have problems with my gall bladder before but this pain is much different. Sometimes I have to stop eating and resume in a few minutes. I had a infection in the uterus when I delivered. Could that still be the problem?

I too am trying to find an answer to this problem. I've found since I had my C Section three months ago that my stomach is very sensitive. I am not able to eat shellfish or sushi, or many other things I used to enjoy. I have also found that certain foods give me food-poisening like symptoms. Like claws are trying to scratch out my insides. I am trying to figure out if this is just a reaction to have major abdominal surgery, but I can't tell. I hope you find an answer and share.

Mine is worse early in the morning until I relieve my bladder. It is almost unbearable. Weird that we all have this.

Sounds like you ladies are having complications. You can have anywhere from a bowel obstruction, damaged bladder, or scar tissue rapidly growing interfering with internal organs.

See your Dr ASAP

I had stomach pain after my first c section where I had a sensitive stomach/colon where I would get sharp stomach cramps and need to go to the toilet with very little notice and felt quite faint. My stomach felt as if it were higher up than it used to be. My GP kept dismissing the problem and prescribing an acid reduction tablet which amazed me as I did not have acid reflux. 18 months on I had a second c section and when they opened me up they found that my stomach and other organs had grown together through scar tissue.

Hi ladies,
I had a C-section 2 months ago and all of a sudden started having bad stomach ache every time I eat... Tums doesn't help. I have this pain after every single time i eat ! Never had this before the C-section and even during my pregnancy I never had stomach problems/heartburn.
I will go see a doctor today.

HI LADIES

I HAD A C-SECTION IN 2010 AFTER THAT I STARTED GETTING STOMACH AND BLADDER PAINS,I CONSTANTLY HAVE TO GO TO TOILET AS MY STOMACH KEEPS ON RUNNING BUT IT IS ONLY WATER THAT COMES OUT...THE DOCTOR SAID I HAVE KIDNEY STONES BUT I DONT BELIEVE HER HAS ANY-ONE OF YOU EVER EXPERIENCED THIS/

Hi all, it's mad how so many people have problems after c section... Had mine 6 months ago loads of complications, I now have been told I have retained product(gutted) it just seems as if its 1 thing after another :( xx

I had a c section in 2007. I have had a lump the entire time. It would seem like my lump would be more sensitive after my period. I have recently lost over 100lbs and it seems as if now my lump hurts all the time. I have pain in my side and my normal temp is at least 99. When the pain is unbearable I am unable to eat and it feels like my stomach is bloated and it hurts to urinate and deficate at that time and my temp climbs to 101. I have always been told this is just scar tissue and to basically deal with it or have surgery and get more scar tissue. I had my gallbladder removed in January and the pain and symptoms have not gone away. I am 33 years old and this is making me very nervous. I am going to an obgyn in a few days. Hopefully I will have an answer soon. Does anyone else have the same problems like me??

Hiya i was just wondering if you ever found out what was wrong in always getting terrible upper stomach pain my doctor keeps giving me acid tablets but they dont help iv had a ultrasound scan and everything was fine ??

Hay ladies I too had a csection 3months ago with my 1st child , and I been getting pains upper part of my stomach , I realised that after I ate dim sim I started getting this pain, it's like something inside is twisting real tight , il be in pain for10-15mins every half an hour per day , (this is my 3rd day now ) then I would have to go to the toilet, and it feels like iv just cleaned out everything in my stomach. Not sure what it is but I'm hoping its nothing serious
