I recently noticed that I have a red rash around my vagina and anus, which extends up my outer lips and sort of diminishes to red spots as it moves away from the area. There's also some flaky skin. It doesn't hurt, itch, tingle, is not swollen, I have no abnormal discharge, I can't even notice it without looking. It doesn't go inside my lips, but I also noticed that where you can see a little bit inside the vagina the skin has gone white and lumpy, it looks like it has some odd discharge on it, but it doesn't come off so I guess it must be the skin.
I went on holiday a couple of weeks ago and took a period delaying pill while I was there, Northisterone I think it's called. When I came off the pill I was on my period for the next two weeks, and used sanitary towels every day. I spoke to my Mum and she reckons it's thrush from the pads. I slept with a guy while I was on holiday and even though we used a condom I'm a bit worried incase it is something more sinister. Any ideas as to what it is and how to treat it?

doctor......there really is no telling. condoms do help keep std's at bay but, you never know. Also, where did you go on holiday? Beach, spa resort where they have pools, hot tubs, and suna's? I would look into maybe it is a skin rash from sitting in a dirty suna or something maybe your skin is being really sensitive to something you use everyday. But, I highly recommend going to see your Ob/Gyn.

I understand being scared, certainly, but it's your body too, and you definitely need to take care of yourself! I don't think it's an STD, but it could be something like thrush which would need to be treated by the doctor. Can you let us know how it turns out or if you do go to the doctor? Thanks!

Hey I have the same issue but I dont have any dryness down there..i check today and I didnt see not dryness ..i need help ..this is not koo and to top it off now and then ill get a blister bump ..and to top it off even more toppings my boyfriend showed me yesterday that he has some spot dots around his penus ..can someone give some advice??.pls im really worried..!
