i am 26. i will just put my name at the end of the convo. well i hope my girth goes back to 3" and not stay at 4 that way it will be softer and more elongated. but people tell me sweling suppose to subside after 2 weeks... so i dont know.. should i still put polysorin on my penis?

the swelling will go down everyone is different and while some or most may experience swelling to decrease after 2 weeks it may be longer for others like yourself. how does the incision look is it healed or still open/raw. have you tried iceing your penis to help the swelling or take any anti-inflamatories????

the incision is healed, one stitch was open so there is an opening so i am sure that will fill up.. it just feels hard.. not soft.. it doesnt hurt anymore the head dnot hurt anymore or the shaft when i touch it. so i am not sure if i am fully healed or not.. i mean.. this is insane, i better go back down to 3" girth.. the shaft shape does not look the same as it was before that is forsure. I will give it till mid to end of june

hey johnny its really hard to say because i cant see what your talking about however im not sure how removing sking would make your girth bigger as well ans your penis shorter. im sure njoy is right about the skin streatching. if something is to get bigger and it is strictly the lack of skin which is preventing that then the skin would streatch with time 8)

Wow, this was forum was really persuading me to go ahead with the circumcision until hearing about johnny's experience. I'm 26 and have also been dealing with phimosis for as long as I can remember. I saw a urologist a couple months ago and have been applying the topical cream which has helped. I can retract easily when flacid, but when erect its still a bit tight. The head is still sensative but the sensitivity has decreased a lot more than before. After 6-8 weeks, the cream isn't fullly working and I think it may be because of a short frenuelum breeve. Retraction can fully occur when I'm erect but the tight pressure reduces the strength of my erection to the point where its about 60% hard, and then it becomes soft easily. Any other suggestions or similar experiences..?

have you seen any of our tips for streatching your foreskin after soaking in a hot epsom salt bath?? that should help. if you can fully retrat while flaccid then why do you think you have a short frenulum? 8)

The posts are great and I'm hoping someone will be able to help me. Where as most people here discussing sensitivity issues are only days post-op, I was circumcised 9 years ago. I went through all the sensitivty issues as everyone here, but it does get better. However, when it comes to sex I now have premature ejaculation. Everywhere I read talks about sensitivity loss but I have become much more sensitive, to the point where it is causing me to become depressed. When I was uncircumcised I was fine. I was no all-nighter but the duration of sex was never an issue for me. Now when I'm erect, my glans are so sensitive that I only last a few seconds after penetration. The doctors tell me that thus must have been a problem before, but I know it wasn't an issue when I was uncircumcised.
Has anyone had a similar experience or can anyone give me some hope on a solution. Btw, I've tried the stop-start, creams etc but nothing seems to work.

I'm not really sure what to think there. You could look at the desensitising techniques but after 9 years if your still experiencing the same problems they aren't likely to help.
Maybe see your pharmacist and see if they've got anything that can help.

I am 46 and have been circumsized my whole life. My glans is still sensitive. I don't like rubbing it at all and after cumming, it is extremely sensitive. Intercourse is ok as long as I don't pump fast.

Hey, I'm 14 yrs old and got circumcised 4 days ago. It was rather entertaining when I passed out in hospital as it was the first time I'd had a General anaesthetic. Got the dressing off which was a relief. The shaft is swollen so the glands is off to a wonky angle which makes urinating interesting. Its all very sensitive at the moment, off school at the moment so don't have to move around that much. Going on holiday in a month, will I be able to walk around comfortably by then because I really don't want to be in pain on my holiday?

How did everything work out for you now? In an attempt to cheer you, females prefer girth over length by far anyways! If you gained here, and lost in length it isn't the end of the world. 4" inches is not awful. Also, have you ever seen the skins ability to stretch in a pregnant woman, it's nearly endless! In addition I have read about techniques that can stretch the skin on your penis, and if you really have a 6 inch capacity it should slowly return, but try not to stress! Studies show that ejaculation and sexual satisfaction primarily come from an area in the brain in men, and your mental state is important. I also read about a man online that had to have some skin graphs done, because his surgeon took too much skin off his penis, but it was too tight when not erect! He reports all is back to normal and well now, but it was a stressful experience for him. Took about a year to get it all straightened out, and he had to go to a cosmetic surgeon, but he is happy now. :-)
