Suspicious infiltrates had previous PTB medicated for 6 months.

I am a 4th year college student now, and had an xray for my medical clearance. but the result was suspicious infiltrates in the right apical area of the lung. and suggested to have apicolordic view. i am worried because i had PTB when i was in first year and I medicated for 6 months and felt the change. like gaining more weight. Can PTB reoccur?

Hi Norlana,

It can reoccur. More likely is that what they are seeing is scar tissue from your past infection. It is permanent.

Hello. Thankyou for answering my question. My apico view result is Fibrotic Densities found. What does that mean? One doctor told me I am resisitang to the medicine, I badly need a medical clearance.
