My boyfriend only sweats on one side day and bad at night. He soaks the sheets only on his right side. What would cause this?? He was a heavy drinker, but has slowly slowed it to apx 1-2 every other day or so. Really need to know why it's only on the right side. He does take hydro condone 3xaday because of hip replacements.

I have the same problems and I was diagnosed with polyglandular deficiency syndrome type II. It is a very rare disorder where the persons own autoimmune system attacks the hormone producing glands as if they were an infection.
This is something that is inherent but requires an external stimulus to trigger it.
I personally have been living with it for many years.
20 people out of 1 million will have this syndrome.
Only 5 out of those 20 will be men.
If you think he has hormonal issues then you need to have him go to an endocrinologist for evaluation
