Every time I use hemoroid medicine I seem to get a bladder infection and redness of the vulvar area. I think the ointment carries bacteria to my bladder and skin. Iam going to try DesitinOernightinthe purple tube for the redness and burning and the dr. Put me on antibiotics for the bladder infection.

Lately I have been having problems, my clitorus has been burning and every time I need to wee I have to stay on the toilet but of the agonising pain after I have finished having a wee, if I'm not near a toilet then I will get frustrated because of the feeling of wanting to wee, I think I may have a tare in my clitorus and because of urine being acidic it is giving me stinging pain, what is this and what should I do?

I have been having it and it is a combined bacterial infection with excessive chlorine. It will help to wash with a vaginal wash with :SPRING WATER. It alleviates it so much. You'll only be able to hot water it a couple times a week - rinse with spring water, and don't go back to hot for a few days - trust me I have tried everything like trying to go "ok, this problem is over" - no it comes back. I'm a dog walker and i'm going to get some phlagyll, take that, and continue on with my spring water. it helps a lot. Plain to see a bunch of ignoramous men got together and said nothing wrong with some extra chlorine to kill everything.

Also, it may be a combined yeast infection bacterial infection so when you take your phlagyll, get an over the counter anti fungal, and then, continue with the spring water regimen.

I don't have these symptoms however, I am fighting the battle of reoccurring bacterial infection. After taking so many antibiotics prescribed by the doc I finally gave up and tried my own home remedies. They helped drastically; however, I have a slight burning still. I'm going to the doctor asap. But I been fighting this battle for two months now. Crazy I know... sucks what's us women have to go through. Especially when these "doctors" don't know wtf is wrong with us.

I've been suffering from a similar issue for almost a year now. It started out with what seemed like a yeast infection with painful burning inside and out but after many courses of antibiotics, steroid cream, anti-fungal, my condition down there has only worsened. I have even been on vagifem because my dermatologist said estrogen was low on the skin down there maybe due to being on birth-control for so many years. Stopped birthcontrol, stayed on vagifem, no improvement. My parts are now constantly red and burning inside and out and she said I have Vulvodynia because she can't explain it. I've been in vagina therapy and taking an anti-depressent so suppress the nerve endings. I only experienced a brief 2 week period of relief before it came back worse than before. My doctors can't figure anything out, they put me on hyodrocoritsone cream 10% intravaginally for 4 weeks, then clinymican cream again, no improvement. Nothing helps the pain except epsom salt bath soaks and ice.How did you find this Vulva specailist? I'm scheduled to see another Gyno for hopefully a pair of fresh eyes on my condition because so far no doctor has found a helpful solution. My boyfriend and I do manage to have sex once a week but it's always painful and we have to use lots of lube because I get very dry which is why I keep thinking it's estrogen related but I'm only 31. I've been tested for STDs and all that jazz, he is the only sexual partner I've ever had and prior to us beginning to have sex, I never had these issues in my life. They didn't happen immediately, I didn't start having this problem until 3 months or so after we were having sex, first with condoms than without so, I dunno. My mom said she would get yeast infections all the time when she had sex with my dad but my doctors never find evidence of yeast in my cultures. Its bizarre!

I've been having this problem with the exact same symptoms. The only thing I'm unsure about is the discharge because I'm on my cycle, but I use tampons so it's hard to tell. I've used Benadryl cream (which didn't help) and I've used cocoa butter. The cocoa butter seemed to be helping but it never stopped the itch. I've been scratching like crazy as of lately and I think I scratched too much, and too hard. And I put the cocoa butter on it and it just started burning like hell. i last had sex 5 days ago but the day after is when all of this started. I think I might've had an allergic reaction to the brand of condoms we used. I feel raw and I randomly get these bursts of burning pain. I'm thinking about going to urgent care tomorrow but I'm nervous seeing that all of these women have had the exact same problem with no results.

hello laura ! I know this post is a year old but you seem to be very knowledgeable about natural alternatives to easing lady problems..I've just recently been experiencing the burning sensation the other women describe. it's happened off and on for the past 3 or 4 years - probably due to having chalmydia briefly in '11 before getting it treated, but continued to have discharge and occasional irritation despite testing negative for all stds. from then until just this past December I had the same partner who was always tested negative for the sti as well, so it has to go deeper than an std. I just want a natural way to rid this once and for all :( I know antibiotics are only a quick fix and are more harmful than helpful; besides I'm particular as to what I eat pharmaceutical wise...thank you laura !

Did you ever find relief? I've had the same redness for 3 weeks, doesn't itch or burn- put me on Premarin but my lady parts there are fine- I'm 25, tested negative for everything. Just extreme redness down there!
