I totally agree with you. I've been having the same problems for two weeks now. I can barely move or even walk because the area is irritated. I went to the pharmacist and they gave me a cherderma cream which is helping very much.

Good News for any new viewers at this website. I had the same problem (a sore and swollen clitoris) and I found a healing agent. In a book titled, "The Melaleuca Wellness Guide" it states "when treating a bladder infection, add 10 drops of T36-C5 (Tea Tree Oil) to a quart of distilled water and dab the external urinal tract after each urination with a cotton ball soaked in the mixture." I didn't follow these instructions exactly, but it worked. I used one drop of Melaleuca's tea tree oil to approximately 3-4 drops of Spring drinking water and dabbed the external urinal track with a Q-tip soaked in the mixture. Within 4 hours, I felt a difference in my pain level. I also pulled the skin back on the clitoris to swab the entire area. The book doesn't say how long to treat the area. I don't plan to use it more than 3-4 times a day for 5-7 days at the longest. If the problem still persist, I will go to the doctor for a test. I hope this information helps you too.

Hi I've been having vulval itching, redness and burning for well over a year now. I have been to see two dermatologists the first told me it was a case of piritus vulvae and put me on medication that really messed up my mood, which wasn't very hopeful. The. The second dermatologist was amazing, he suggested it was an inflammatory response and thought it could be lichen sclerosus and prescribed me a strong steroid cream. Been using for about two months and hardly have any itching, occasionally get pain in the vulva and the past few days have been experiencing clitoral pain but that may just be due to my period. Hope this helps

Hi there, how I understand it, if one's resistance is low, then you become sick and usually, as in my case, an antibiotic is prescribed. An antibiotic, cultivates the growth of candida, a fungus that lives in our vaginas and grows, when our immunity is compromised and on top of that, when we take antibiotics. An antifungal, Fluconazole is indicated. The thing about vaginal challenges is, that there is usually more than one thing going on, friction with clothes, so cotton panties, wise notion, not washed with strong soaps. If needed, well definitely in my case, time for replacement of some of my jockeys. The other thing, I realize, is constant exposure to urine and sweat, I know I sweat a lot down there. I have a chronic sensitive, inflamed clitoris and itchy and painful labia minora. Sometimes a bit better, sometimes worse. I am inspired to see the doctor for anti fungal meds, I want her to do a pus swab, I want to request an oestrogen cream. what comes to mind, having my vagina in constant wetness basically, one thinks it is being lubricated, but that is not true. Constant exposure to wetness, dries the skin out. The oestrogen cream lubricates the vagina again. maybe, good to check the PH of my urine, obviously concentrated i f I do not drink enough water a day. I do drink a lot of milk, no sugary things. I know you ladies, if we keep at something, the answers will come.

Go see a doctor and do don't go near him till you are sure it's not an std!
An untreated std can lead to all kinds of problems from cancer to just plain pain.
If it is an std, kick him to the curb:)

Hi everyone,

I have been experiencing similar discomfort, mainly around the clitoris, i can describe it as shooting pain on and off for the past 5 weeks..

I never had this problem ever before, im 26 years old, and it all started after a laser hair removal session down there, not sure if it s related or not, but the next morning I woke up with the pain in my clit and ever since its been there, i tried cortizone which made it better for a week or so but then with my period it started again, and swimming after only made it worse, went to a dr who recommended potassium antibiotic, which seems to only make it worse,

Anyone had a similar experience? I need a cure, healing cream? What can u recommend? Not sure if im burnt/bruised from laser, or have an allergy from the creams and spinning classes..
Thanks
