I have had swollen glands and a painful sore throat for a 4 1/2 weeks. I only smoke about 3 cigarettes a week and don't drink that much. The pain is almost unnoticable in the morning then at night it becomes more severe. He has had acid reflux disease in the past. What could be the cause of this.
