I had a sore throat and then I started to notice that my Gum's were swollen and that I had sore's in my mouth. I can't eat any thing because it hurts so much.
I went to the Doctor's and he gave me Antibiotics. It does not seem to be helping at all.
Does any one out there know what to do. Please help me.

Thank you, Kammy

You may have oral thrust, a fungal infection caused by Candida, in addition to your throat infection caused by a bacterium. Thrust needs to be treated with antifungal medications. Antibiotics can actually make it worse. You can google "thrust" to see if the pictures match what you have. Alternatively, you may be infected with an antibiotic-resistant strain of bacteria that did not respond to the antibiotics given to you. You will need to revisit your doctor soon.
