every once in a while my hands swell up and more throat gets sore, and im not allergic to anything, and i know that i dont do anything differently in my daily routine to trigger it. it happened today, and i ate some tamales which i eat very often and this never happens, so i doubt its an allergic reaction to food, if its even an allergic reaction at all. its only happened twice but when it does i get both symptoms, and the first time i experienced it, i went to the doctors and i discovered an ovarian cyst in my left ovary, ive had surgery and they removed my ovary and fallopian tube on the left side because the cyst was over a foot long =/ anyways, i dont know if any of this is related but the main thing is, id like to know if anyone can help me figure out why my hands swell and my throat gets randomly sore...

There is a type of food allergy that is triggered only by physical exertion just prior to eating a certain food. I don't know if this is your case here.
