ok so i had my tonsils removed 2 weeks ago. and let me tell u it was heck. the first few days were ok but my uvula was so swollen so much tht i could not breathout of my nose. by day 13 i woke up with a mouth full of blood i proceeded to spit out large amounts of blood for 20 minswith clumps tht would come out. i called the doc and they told me tht 1 and 3 people will hav this problem, they told me tht this will happen again well 2 nights later it started again i started to gurgle ice cold water this made the bleeding stop but i started 2 gag and threwup a large amount of blood i had one of my parents to look at it they told me tht it look like there was scabs in it. now iam on day 17 and my uvula is still a little swollen but i fell awhole lot better

Perhaps you're ok, but you'd want to make sure, considering you had surgery. I would, regardless of what the surgeon thinks over the phone, go and see him/her. It's a small price to pay for your continued healing and future health. That's my serious advice. I hope that things are good for you. I am on day 5 after the tonsillectomy. My uvula has swollen and has become red like a bag full of blood.
