Hello, I am 47 years old and unfortunately I am having some kidney problems. Well, the situation is not that serious, but I am still worried. What are the symptoms of the chronic kidney disease? I suffer from a high blood pressure and I have proteins in my urine. Should I be concerned?

Well, if you do have chronic kidney disease, it is in its first stage, one that actually does not have a lot of symptoms, except for those you have mentioned. Still, I assume that you have already visited your doctor and that you have started with some sort of therapy. And of course, those symptoms do not have to be related to that condition, but to something else. As for the serious symptoms, those are metabolic acidosis, accumulation of potassium, fluid volume overload etc.
