i am being assesse for getting my grandson in my care had to have drug testing and come back positive for amphetamines i have been taking dexedrine for many years but they are stating that its showing street drugs what can i do as need to get my grandson back in to care as he as high level of complexes needs and was caring for him very well and he had never been looking so good did not have to go hospital in the time i had him as it happened quite often before he got in to my care things was going all good for him till my positive test came back and they have taken him from me even though he was doing so well please help me as once they take them from you its so hard to get him back sharon

Hi Sharon, About the only thing I can think of, (and I don't even know if it's possible) but you could hire a private drug testing company to do a more intense drug test that actually shows what the chemical is, rather than the broad scope tests that county tester's do for people that are on probation. Perhaps you could take your pills to them and ask them to test one to show that they are the same thing? It will probably be spendy, but most likely worth the effort if it kept your grandson in your care. I hope this was helpful. Good luck to you.
