I've been on Suboxone for almost 2 years. I did a 3 week taper per Drs orders. Well, that didn't go so well to say the least!!! I have NEVER felt so bad in my entire life!! It's like having the flu, shakes, tremors, muscle spasms and hellish anxiety all at once. It was hard for me to even stand on my own two feet. When I got off the Vicodin the Dr gave me Tramadol to help with the detox, I had some left over so by the 4th day off subs I figured I'd try it. It really seems to help me with energy. I'm a mom of 5 small children and I cannot afford to feel sluggish. I have to get up early and get all of them off to school, which is nearly impossible without the Tramadol. I don't want to become dependant on the Tramadol but right now I don't know what else to do. I take 1- 50mg pill every 4 hours. Anyone have any better solution, or is it ok to take the tramadol?? Thanks in advance to all who read!!

well for me today is day15 off subs.Ohh, and I do know what you're talking coming off of them. I only have one child not five!

That is a sheer hell I never wanna go through again. Valium helped a lot with anxiety and if you actually went into detox, which I  know is impossible for you they would give you Valium and probably Trazadone to help with sleep and the creepy crawlies. 15 days and I still get creepy crawlies, night sweats, and VERY low energy level, but nothings gonna stop me now! good luck to you and God bless

I've been off subs for a year now. I tapered myself off and went through hellish days. I haven't been the same since, still sluggish, no energy, anxiety like hell and body aches. My sleep is better because I'm on trazodone at night, and take Xanax for anxiety. I've been on ultram lately the past month due to back pain (which is the very reason I was put on opiates and then subs to begin with). My back pain is back full force and docs don't want to give me anything that'll help. I'm stuck in a rough patch. Anyways, I wish you both good luck, those dt's are not fun at all, but I can say subs withdrawals aren't nearly as bad as perc and oxy ones.
