I have had Latent TB since I was 12 and Hep B since I was 16 (I am now in my 50s). I was treatd for TB when I contracted it, and I had extensive testing done for Hep B couple of years ago that indicated my count was too low for treatment. What are the odds of me developing an acute case of one or both of these diseases as I age? Does having these diseases increase my chances of getting cancer, and what are the odds? Since my Hep B count is so low, can I still pass this on sexually? What can I do to strengthen my immune system?
