I'm 16 and my testicles are aching, and so is the groin region around either side of my penis. The penis itself is fine. I'm unsure of why this might be happening, as i'm not sexually active. I've tried giving it some rest, as in not masturbating, but the same symptoms persist.

usually this is caused by stopping before enjaculation, it's a symptom called blue balls. Lay off the masterbation for a while, if it continues consult your doctor.

crisssd is right in guessing that it's similar to blue balls, although based on your age, it could also be a puberty related issue as well. Typically during puberty, there are a lot of symptoms such as aching testicles while you grow, and they don't stop until you are 18 or older. Just realize that an ache is normal, but a pain is not. Please keep us posted on how this goes for you, and let us know if anything else happens. Has anyone else dealt with this?
