Hair loss due to hyperthyroidism is irreversible. Hair will start growing again once you regulate your hormonal levels. Unfortunately, hair may not start growing immediately after having your hormones fixed because hairs grows very slowly and it may take months after regulating the hormones for hair to start growing.
I understand your concern and don’t worry, it will start growing again but it needs to take its course. I know it is hard, but this is something you need to wait out and your hair will gradually start growing again.
Work with your doctor about finding the right dosage of the medications and regulating your hormonal levels. Once you’ve done that, all the symptoms will diminish.
