I have exactly the same about 5-6 times a day. A really horrible tickling sensation that lasts about 2 minutes, gradually easing off with drinking lots of anything.
And tears just streaming out of my tear ducts like a tap has been switched on. Its a really horrible thing sensation wise and it's embarrassing too because its hard to explain it to anyone

I have the exact same thing, extreme tickle in my throat causing me to sneeze & my eyes to water, tears streaming down my face. Coughing doesn't relieve the tickle only drinking. I have been to several doctors, diagnosed with acid reflux, the medication did not help (I really don't think its the cause). I have the tickle for over 6 months now, get attacks about 6- 7 times a day, very embarrassing. Anyone get any answers or find a relief????

I too have serious chronic GERD and gastroparesis and I was wondering if this cough and tickle I have developed was related. I have not gone to a doctor because I have lost faith in all of them

If you are on high blood pressure meds like Lisinopril or HCTZ - this may be the culprit. It was for me when I was on Lisinopril. I figured it out myself. years later, I am experiencing it again and I take Hyzaar which has HCTZ in it. I am now thinking this is the problem. I have tried so many other blood pressure meds though due to the tickle, cough, runny eyes and this is the one with the least amount of side effects, but honestly I can't take this much longer...
