Lower UTIs are infections of the urethra and  bladder. Their symptoms include:

  • increased  frequency of urination with scant amounts of urine being passed
  • bloody urine
  • cloudy urine
  • urine that  looks like cola or tea
  • strong odor to  urine
  • pelvic pain  (women)
  • rectal pain  (men)

I have had this in hs. All UTIs do not have to be painful. I experienced the urgency to pee, the tingling immediately after I voided, plus a slight pulsation. After two days of this I went to the doctor and it was in fact a UTI. Always urinate after sex don't hold it.

Also as someone suggested...looked up IC aka interstitial cystitis if you notice you have frequent UTIs. It is often misdiagnosed and most do not know they have IC for at least 2 or 3 years.

This happens when there is an inflammation of tissues surrounding urethra. This usually happens after intercourse. Drink plenty of water. It takes care of it

thank god I'm not the only one that has this problem. It started for me last night while I was in the shower I got out to pee and then I still feel like I had to pee. It's happened all day. I feel like I have to pee but I can't nor will the tingling feeling when I pee... I'm confused why this happened all the sudden. if anyone has any answers that would be amazing!

I have the exact same thing, i'm 99.9 % Sure its a UTI, and u should go see a doctor (just in case) but for me, Drinking LOTS of water, like to be exact more then 7 bottles a day, and u should start to urinate a lot more, so be close to the washroom, and for me, I have cloudy urine, It tingled me ONLY when i was about to have a empty bladder and it felt very irritating after a week. U should clean yourself really good but don't use a douche, i heard that irritates even more, just rinse down their, clean from front to back, And like other people say, U should Drink cranberry juice, not the sugary ones, But the ones from an organic store with NO Sugar, It might taste rlly sour or bad, but that might help. But other people say that Cranberry juice prevents a UTI not cure it, but it's helping me somewhat and the tingling has gone some what, and i've noticed My Urine smelled foul, but when i drank more water it helped the UTI.

hey there,,Im not sure if you found the problem by now , i hope you did but for all those who still puzzled , here is my suggestion...I had the same EXACT symptoms and issue for a bout 2  months or more and visited both gynecologist and urologist and both took the urine test and it was clear... I tried everything i could...to make story short - the condition is called Cystitis...ITs NOT AN INFECTION and it will not show up in urine test!!! Its and INFLAMMATION of the internal lining of the bladder...Now, there are different types of the Cystitis and different causes..In my case it was due to a trauma or bruising of the bladder after sex...this kind of Cystitis is called traumatic or acute cystitis... The symptoms starts either rigth after sex or same day or even next day....There is a chronic condition called Interstitial Cystitis (or Bladder IC) , Causes of that type of the blader are unknown and sometimes linked to a autoimmune family.... In any type of the Cystitis the main way to cure it is DIET,, YES diet...and the most important part that i will say now might shock some people but you can look it up by tourself - NO CRANBERRY JUICE!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes , cranberry juice is number one cure for infections like UTI, Bladder ok kidney infections but NOT FOR CYSTITIS!!! I made a mistake thinking that i have a UTi and been drinking litters of cranberry juice which irritated my bladder even more! All those foods that drs recommend with UTi or any other infections liek Vimamin C, Citrus, Cranberry juice are REALLY BAD for cystitis..those are the number one foods to avoid! Also avoid alcohol, coffee, spicy foods and acidic foods...there are many suggestions online now a days about the diet for Cystitis..Look it up and be welll!! Good luck!!!

Hello everyone,

I started to suffer from the same symptoms (frequent urge to urinate, bladder pressure or fullness, discomfort, weird feeling like a pre orgasm) 30 days ago and I've seen 3 doctors (can only sleep 4-5 hours a nights with luck). I was tested for ITSS, UTI, prostate cancer, kidney infection, etc. Everything came out negative which was depressing as the problem is still present.

I saw a urologist today and he suspects the problem would be bladder stones. I have an x-ray scheduled this week and also a cystoscopy. I will know soon, but he seemed pretty sure about this.

We shall see very soon, I hope!

Oh... and no it was not a cystisis, that was also negative and the 2 strong different antibiotics (prescribed by the first 2 doctors) would have kicked it to the curb with the diet.
