Hey,

Im new to this forum - thanks for having me!

I was just wondering if someone could help me out with a problem I have been experiencing in my mouth?

For the last seven days, I have been experiencing a tingling sensation on the edge of my tongue, coupled with (although not always at the same time as) the feeling of something in my throat, like a short sharp hair.

I approached my doctor about it, and he just prescribed me some lozenges for it (which only work for about five minutes). It is not the first time I have had problems with my ENT area this year - last week, my eustacion (sp) tube was blocked up , causing my ear to feel pain, and I also had debilitating toothache for the best part of April.

Could anyone suggest anything to eliminate this problem, as, although I am not in pain, it is very irritating, and it has been affecting my life?

Some things I think it could be - if I am talking rubbish, let me know!!!:
- I have eaten fish recently. Could it be that a fishbone is stuck in my throat, in the soft tissue area?

- Swollen glands
- Problems with nerve endings, meaning my tongue tingles
- In growing hair?
- Since the itch jumps around from point to point, could there be something alive in there>

Thanks in advance, and sorry for the heavy first message!!
