I'm 21 yr old female and I have my tonsillectomy on July 22nd. I just had my pre-op clearance yesterday. All they did was take some blood, make me pee in a cup, and gave me an EKG. Everything was cleared, so now it is just the waiting game. I was just wondering if someone else is going to be going through this as the same time as me, I've heard its much better to have a partner in pain. Just this morning I had a horrible dream of the surgery going all wrong and I am scared to death. I will keep you posted nevertheless.

I went through this with a friend when I was 8. Its not so bad! Its a little uncomfortable though.
