Hello everyone, I'm up right now sitting in my bed and it's 1:30. I can't sleep because my stomach hurts and I'm shaky and my heart is beating kinda fast for some reason. Me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex (and he cummed in me)  last Wednesday and now it's Thursday. I was supposed to have my period two days ago and I've been sick ever since last Thursday. I'm nauseous 24/7 and have to pee all the time, I can smell food from a mile away and a lot of other things too like cigarette smoke. The side of my breast and tips of my nipples hurt really bad and are super sensitive to the touch. I took a test a couple hours ago and it was negative but it might just be showing up negative cuz it's too early to take a test. I'm not sure, if you have any advice for me please let me know.

Hi Savannah. It would be very unlikely that you would experience any symptoms on the day after you had intercourse, it is probably more down to anxiety and stress and if you normally have a regulate period on a 28 day cycle you would of been well past your most fertile time. The sensitive breasts and nipples could just be a sign your period is on it's way.

The best time to take any pregnancy test to get the most accurate results is with the first pee you take after you wake up in the morning as that's when the the hormone will be most concentrated.

If you don't want to become pregnant then either refrain from having intercourse or use a condom what you should be doing anyway to protect yourself from STIs and STDs because some of them can have life changing for both sexes specially females though by leaving them infertile and unable to have kids and as an extra precaution you should look into using some form of contraception yourself wether it be the pill, implant or some other form.

Thank you, I think it might be signs of my period too but my period is late so that's a little weird and I didn't feel any symptoms the day after intercourse, I've been feeling them about 4 days after, when I said Thursday I meant Thursday of the next week. But it's probably too early to have symptoms anyways. Idk, I'm just trying to be sure and get someone else's opinion. You're most likely right though, and I do need to get on birth control and use condoms.
