Sorry this is long...
I'm going a little nuts here trying to figure out whether or not I could be pregnant, so far home pregnancy tests say no...I've tried doing research on the internet and every website says something different! Here's my situation, I hope someone has an idea:
1. Had normal period starting on September 11 - for me normal is pretty heavy, lasting 4-5 days
2. I am on the pill, however, somewhere around Sept. 22nd I started taking migraine medication that I just recently found out can make my birth control quite ineffective
3. Only have sex once or twice on the weekends because fiance and I live in different states during the week, no protection because i'm on the pill.
4. October period was due on the 9th but it was 2 days late and I'm never late - it was also very different then my usual period. There wasnt much of a flow, only some came out when I was on the toilie, and it was very dark and kind of stringy (sorry so gross). I used a pad at first but barely anything was on it. This lasted about 2 days, after that I only had pinkish stuff when I wiped that got less and less for a couple of days. That ended on Tuesday, and since then I've had a lot of clear discharge.
5. Since about the week my period started I've had some strange symptoms that are very unusual for me - constipation, heartburn, and some nausea and breast tenderness. This week I've been a little dizzy and had headaches, and I'm having trouble sleeping. I feel different and strange for the past couple of weeks.
I guess my question is, according to my timeline, do you guys think that it's possible I'm pregnant and I'm just taking the pregnancy tests too early? Or do you think the tests should be positive by now and so I'm probably not pregnant? I'm guessing if I'm pregnant I would have conceived around the 29th of Sept...
I'm thinking maybe I should make an appt for a blood test next week? I cant wait for next period because I started the Seasonique pill on Sunday and so my period wont be here for 3 months!
Thanks in advance for any insight!

I would go to your Gyn and have them do a pregnancy test on you, tell them your problem, they'll tell you what you should do. They will most likely be able to take a pregnancy test and see if indeed you are pregnant. That would be your best bet instead of waiting.
