This is probably way to late but I am suffering Tramadol withdrawl as I type this. Please!!!! do not even consider Tramadol for anything, withdrawl or pain untill you read the posts on Tramadol withdrawl. I can concure with the majority of the sentiment you'll find there. In my humble opinion tramadol should be banned from all use.
