Has anyone had this surgery? I have urinary stress incontinence (leak when I exercise, cough, sneeze, run, laugh hard, etc.). Apparently they put some sort of tape under the urethra to help support it and that is supposed to fix the problem.

I'm kind of freaking out about the surgery. I'm wondering if it actually works or if I'm wasting money to have something done that doesn't work. I'm also curious if it hurts afterwards, etc.
