Hello My Dad has an unknown disease or infection. What happens is he gets fevers at night, and hurts all over especially in his joints. He also hurts in his esophageal area. The Dr. just found that he has some old scaring on his liver and she said that he's had mono at some point in time. The disease or virus has affected his heart and he has to take heart medicine for A-fib now. Also, he has had trouble with urination at times not being able to go. The day after he get the night sweats he feels better. Then along in the evening time he gets to feeling really bad again. He's been put on prednisone before and it did help but now it really doesn't help him anymore. He's had all sorts of blood work done and every time his blood work is normal. He has had so many tests done, he's also had his back broke in the past and has had surgery on his back and neck. It's like his auto-immune system goes into over drive. He can't take traditional medicine very well because it makes him sicker sometimes. Antibiotics especially make him really sick.
