My doctor said that there are chances that you can get your period or you may not, you just need to wait until your body gets used to the pills which is usually couple of months after taking it.

i started my birth control the sunday after my period and then i started bleeding 14 days later but 2 days before that i had unprotected sex and ive been bleeding for 7 days going on 8 now , it started out light but became kind of heavy but not like my normal period and now its really light again but the cramps are pretty bad, i dont think this means pregnancy but i just wanna be sure .. please help!!!!!

I started using birth control and had unprotected sex a week later. With that being said I took 7 active pills before having sex. Am I protected against pregnancy or is there a chance I may be pregnant?
