my boyfriend and i have discussed about having oral sex and he said that he had a friend that claims he got throat cancer by doing it ...his reason was that a womans body produces a chemical that caused it is that true ( i am thinking not but to set his mind at ease i want to clear this up so that we can have a healthy sexual relationship without him living in a paronoid fear....

You definitely can not get throat cancer from oral sex, so don't worry about that! Oral sex can be a lot of fun and it is incredibly enjoyable! Just set some ground rules about not going any farther.
