Hi there,
I have just experienced the pelvic muscle tension problem ; many thanks indeed for your information.

I have found a very highly medical support too which helped me a lot. I started to submit myself to some particular manual massages inside my pelvic area and besides to take Ausilium which helped me a lot.
You should try it.

Hey.. I find, I have the exact same issue. I couldn't find anyone else who did, but now I have~

I'm prone to UTI's.. I've been getting them since I was a baby, and I'm 14 now.... SO I've gone thru alot of pain .... T_T

But.. For the past cpl months... I've had about 4 UTI's within 3 months, treated it all.. But then I found... The pain soon came back.. O_O

So I went to check it out AGAIN.. No UTI.. O_o

Same as you, it doesn't hurt to use the bathroom.. But about 20 minutes, to an hour later- The pain will come.. And it'll last 'til I use the bathroom again.. Sometimes, if I go straight to a couch right after that "break", and sit on my feet with my heels putting pressure in that area, it won't come again.. But sometimes it does.... And it's terrible... D'x

If I take, like.. 2 400mg ibuprofens, and 2 or 3 cranberry extract pills, the pain will go away within a cpl hours. If I go to sleep, I won't have the feeling the next day, sometimes for quite a few days..

This pain is terrible, and I'm TIRED of it.. What happens when antibiotics don't work...??? = (

Not good.. So if You find any better answers, or solutions, pwweeaaasssseee tell meh.... TT____TT :'(

Many of the symptoms I've read I have had. After four years of being treated for UTI's even though all my cultures were negative for bacteria from a UTI, I was finally diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis... It's a conditon, where your bladder wall lining is thin, therefore, high acid urine burns (like an acid burn as it is) Your bladder.
You may want to do some research about this as perhaps maybe this could be an answer for you.
There are also some good Utube videos by Jill Osbourne who explains this problem. I hope this may help.
Good Luck

I have the same thing. Pain after i urinate, i have had this sense i was 6 i am not 19. the use to say when i was little that it was UTI"s then 2 years ago i was diagnosed with IC . Drinking lots of water helps me and when i do hurt i take a pill called pyridium medication it helps me alot. What it does is basically nome your urethra. Just a warning it does turn your pee red or orange. Cranberry juice and any kind of juice makes me hurt... also when i dont drink very much water thats when i have the most pain.

I too get UTI's all the time.  Sometimes they show up as a bacterial infection/UTI at the Dr. office, and sometimes they don't (not sure why when they don't, cuz I can sure tell when it's one!!).  No STD's either.  I did find something called Clear Tract, or D-Mannose that has REALLY helped me not get them as often.  Once in a while I will still get one, and if you take more of the D-Mannose or Clear Tract it can clear it up, rather than have to get antibiotics each time.  But if you remember to take them every day, it helps prevent any UTI's, and does a great job, since I hardly ever get them any more.  So look for it at your local vitamin stores, and request it.  It's fairly new, so not all of them will have it, but if you look around you can probably find a store that carries it in your area.  Or you can look up Clear Tract online, and order it there.  It also explains how it works better than I can.  It's not like cranberry, it actually is a natural thing your body produces that makes the bacteria stick to it rather than to you.  But they explain better like I said.  And until someone comes up with a cure for this problem, it's my lifesaver!!

I'm not sure if anyone is still reading this thread, but I've had these same issues for a year now. It started out as a UTI, then after the infection had gone I still had the burning sensations, the pain when my bladder was empty, and the insufferable urethral irritation. I went to the ER around six times with no results, and then I started seeing a Urologist. He said I had a yeast infection in my bladder, or so he thought. I went on anti-yeast and antibiotics for two weeks twice, it calmed the pain but nothing really made it ALL go away. I've been on urogesic blue, uribel, and levbid. Again, it works for a while then my body seems to become immune. I went back again, and he said I had a UTI, even though my urine tested negative for bacteria seven times. What I did find that helps is as listed above, cut out the caffeine. If you have to have soda then try sprite or 7up. Trust me, it's worth it. Also, stuff that's high in acid will make it worse. So, limit tomatoes, excessive amounts of juice, and definitely oranges! When it gets to be unbearable I sit in a bath of water that's on the cooler side and palm cold water on my vaginal opening and urethra. Also, daily I use monistat on my urethral opening topically. I haven't seen anyone mention this, but it works wonders! I still don't know what's going on, but until I find out I do whatever I can to avoid the BAAAAD days. Oh, and drink lots of water. That's all I have, but I'm constantly learning new things that help. So, if anyone who reads this needs advice or tips from my experience then I'll be happy to help. The two things I feel best fit what's going on here is Urethral Syndrome, and IC as mentioned above. I hope this helps! And like I said, just send me an email and I will be happy to assist in any way I can!

I've have also been having uti's since I was about 8 or so, I uselly only had about 2-3 uti's a year until now.. I have had 2 uti's within a 3 week time I no longer have health insurance due to me being 25 yrs old so I just call my doctor and tell them and they been giving me Nitrofurantoin Mono/Mac 100MG caps both this time and last time. I have been on this medication for 48 hours now and still have pain and same with last time I've never been on this before until three weeks ago and like I said I never had this problem w pain after starting the medicine uselly it goes away after the 1st day and doesn't return that quick... When I was younger i didn't know what it was and went to serveral gyn's and never got treated until about 5 years ago.. I don't know of due to me never getting treated with the right medicine is why I'm getting them now so close together or if that the medicine is not working for me.. Does anyone else have the same problems??

I like this answer, it sounds just like my experience and I've had similar thinking that it could either be around the menstruation/hormone changes or caffeine or a combo. When I was preggo I had wierd uncomfortable heat issues down in that area and my midwife said that when there's a lot of blood flow to that area it can get really hot. I'm finding that around the beginning of pregnancy or menstruation is when I get UTI or it feels like it. I wonder if these could explain a lot of women's problems.
