Im not sure how late this is but..... Im confused. I did the dirty and now a week to two weeks later im starting to have wired symptoms that are come with pregnancy. Now im taking birth controll but iv been late a couple times when taking them. Any way i went to the doctor and she tested my pee and it came back for a uti. But what of my friends got a uti i guess a little while before she found out she was preg. Now i have not been late to start my period. It starts saturday... so if i miss it does it mean there is a good chance im pregnate.
Im really worried, we want a kid but were not in the finnacial life right now... were poor and we could not afford one. so does anyone have any ideas?

I think I might have a uti and I took a hpt and the indicator line is a light pink line but I assume it's because I took it early and I shouldn't be getting my period until 4 days from now. As far as I know NITROFURANTOIN will probably not harm your chances of conceiving or affect a baby if you are pregnant, that is what my doctor prescribed me about 3 times the last time I was pregnant. I also have heard from people an dr's that birth control will sometimes not work while taking antibiotics which is why some women get pregnant while on birth control and antibiotics. I also miscarried about 5 months ago at 16 weeks. My baby actually should have been born at the beginning of this month. We barely built up the courage to attempt to try and get pregnant again so I'm hoping the light pink line means that I am pregnant and hoping for a healthy pregnancy. I also had a miscarriage at 6 weeks while trying for my second baby and two months later got pregnant and had a good pregnancy. This will be my third child if everything goes well, I wish you all luck.

hello everyone, i am new to this and is in desperate need of advice and support. We have been trying to concieve for a few months and havent really had any luck until now. Im not sure if i am prego or not but this is the first time i've ever had the symptoms, and actually thought i was. I have been using the fertility and ovulation calculator thingys on the net. Figured out which days i was fertile and the day of ovulation. We had intercourse on 2 of my fertile days and the day of ovulation. My cycle is pretty much always the same every month. 3 day period, 31 day cycle, and my first day is always the worse. This month i noticed spotting 3days before my period was suppose to come on, and for about 5days now i have been bleeding. I have never experienced spotting before a period since i have been having periods. I have several friends with children so i often question what they went through before getting a positive test. One friend said she had her period and the following month is when she found out and by then she was already at about 6 or 7weeks. Another said she had her period the whole time. One of my family members said she never had a UTI until she got prego. Several people have said that preg women have a better chance of having UTI when prego.
I tested and the result was neg, but i have just been told by the doc that i have a UTI. i am very confused about this whole thing. I was told that if it didnt clear up in the next few days to come back.

i have a question......i went to the doctor the other day for a possible uti or kidney stone....the doc started asking me questions about my previous pregnacies, when my last period was, how long i carried my children and even gave me antibiotics that pregnant women take...why would he do that for a possible uti...does he think i may be pregnant cause he didnt say

hi i ended my period on the 2nd of this month and ovulated on the 11th and today have had a slight redish brown blood show nothing to big after a few wipes its gone. im not due on again till 25th can anyone help me in answeri.g what this coukd be. as me and my parter are trying. thanks xx

It could be mid cycle spotting that sometimes happens when you ovulate. Just read "Taking Charge of your Fertility"...it's a fabulous book, I recommend it to all women trying to have children.

I ve got similar situation my daughter was n ER 2day n found out DR said shes pregnant NOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT BECAUSE OF THE UTI THAT THE PREGNANT TEST COULD BE FALSE ME BEING N SHOCK N WORRIED 4 MY GIRL N DIDN'T ASK THIS QUESTION 2 THE DR , ANYONE WHO MAY KNOW OR IDEA TILLL I CAN GET HER 2 OBGYN THIS WEEK , BUT U KNOW HOW THOSE APPT TAKE 2 GET IN.. Thats because any anti-biotic makes birthcontrol to stop working and it is important to use other contraceptives such as condoms while on an antibiotic.

I have been pregnant two times. Before I found out i was pregant I had a uti. Then about 1 week later I went back to the doctors found out I was pregnant.

im in a crazy situation right now. i had my period; however, it was less than usual. i took a pregnancy test after my weird period, it came out positive. on the same day i took the test i start bleeding. i went to the ER, the test came out positive but the hgc was only 47. the doctor said i was having a miscarriage. i came home got a uti test, it came out positive. im suppose to back to the ER after 48 hours to make sure that the hormones disappeared .
im really sad bacause i do not know if my uti caused the miscarriage or it was the early pregnancy that cause UTI. can anyone help me?

last april i had popped positive for a pregnancy, but a week later i started spotting. my husband and i went to the er and found out that I had a uti and sadly was having a miscarriage too. Ive thought about all the things i done leading up to finding out i was prego and then finding out that i had a uti too just made me believe that the uti may have caused the miscarriage. my doc had HINTED-not confirmed- that the uti may have had something to do with it but being that i wasnt very far along they were not for sure....i am sorry for your loss i know it is hard. best of luck to you----bamamomma89

Hello there. I am in a simular situation except my periods are not regular. They come and go wen they want to. I had a period last Month january but i havent had one for the Month of febuary. I have lost a lot of Weight cuz they told mi i needed to lose it in order to have any possablity to get pregnant. I have the same symptoms u guys have. Went to d dr and they told mi the same thing that it is a UTI. They did a preg test and never told mi if it was neg or not. Cold i be pregnant?
