Someone says, you can have an Urinary Tract Infection after sex. Cause I felt a pain when I pee. So, I want to go to a doctor but I'm scared because maybe my mom will know that I'm having a sex. I'm only 17. Female. My question is, when I have a check-up and they'll get a sample of my pee, will it show in the result or will the doctor know that I get the infection because of having sex? So you want to know if you have a UTI after having sex, will your doctor know that you got it from sex. Well, that might depend on the infection you have. You're assuming you have a regular UTI whatever that is. Certain bacterial and viral infections are associated with sexual contact. Others could come from a kidney problem that is internal. Nevertheless, you need to get a diagnosis from your doctor. Talk to your doctor about this and what if anything he/she will tell your parents. I think that's about the only thing you can do at the moment. As a citizen you have certain rights to the privacy act. How your doctors handles this is another matter. TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR before you have the test.
