I had a surgical abortion at 14 week 4 days on the 30/4/2008. Since then I have experienced very heavy but regular but longer periods. However inbetween I always have light spotting (does only require panty liner). Today I went for a Pelvic Transvaginal Ultrasound scan.
The person doing the scan said the womb looks ok but there is problem with the lining of the womb. I have to wait now for 15 days before I can speak to my GP.
I am devasted and worried that i might not be able to get pregnant again. I am 38 years old. Please help if you can. thank youj.

The exact same thing happened to me. The gyno scheduled me an operation last month & removed two benign polyps & said that hopefully that would stop the bleeding.
Unfortunately it did not. I had between-period bleeding again this morning. I've been looking everywhere for an answer.
