My boyfriend and I are in a long distance relationship and see each other once a month, if not less. The last time we saw each other and had sex I developed vaginal soreness and irritation, which would be more painful when I would urinate. I also felt as though my vagina was "bruised". It doesnt itch or hurt, it's just uncomfortable. Could this be because of rough sex or vaginal dryness?

If you used a CONDOM, it could be swelling and irritation to the latex, the pwder on the latexz, or the spermicide depending on what kind.
If you didnt, was the sex rather ROUGH? Yes then those are battle wounds.
If your URETHRA burned while you urinated, you have an INFECTION or STD if foul discharge and pelvic pains follow.
If it burned because it dribbled down to the sore area, apply witchazel on a cotton ball until it goes away and take it easy.
