vaginal tissue discharge

Wow, my 16 year old daughter (who had a depo-provera shot 2 months ago) had this happen last night...just as you all described.  We took it to her doctor and they didn't know what it was. Seems like all of here can say exactly that it is not a miscarriage - it's tissue.  Relieved that it appears to have happened to others and she WON'T be taking the shot again.

I jut had the thermachoice procedure two weeks ago. I've had three live births and after my third, I had my tubes tied. I have had two to three of these types of "clots" in the past three days. It is endometrial tissue. I don't know what is causing it for all of you, but my thermachoice procedure is what is causing it for me. :/

I also experience this one last night.. actually i was expecting that i was pregnant, i didn't bother to test myself since i was so sure about it..I had a severe abdominal cramps then i discharged a inches tissue as described above.It was so frustrating.I didn't know what to do.. i feel sick about seeing a doctor...huhuhu

i am glad i am able to read these discussions..i just had the same experience this morning..i was so shocked to see the tissue discharge that i immediately went to the E.R...thanks God an experienced OB was able to check on me..after having some blood and urine tests(the results are normal), she interviewed me and we talked about my medical history..i just recently been diagnosed to have a cysts in the right ovary and have thickened endometrial liningand i am taking progesterone pills (qlaira)..my OB told me that those discharges are normal..it would be painful and uncomfortable, but she reassures me that it is ok..and after reading this page, i can sleep soundly tonight. i praise and thank our Almighty God for these insights..

i was 7 weeks pregnant and i saw a little blood and after 4 days its stopped ,but i went to emergency quickly and they did some tests and an ultrasound and said there was only the baby sac,doctor told me to come another 2 weeks for u sond,and so i did and the saw onty the baby suc so i waited another 1 week and nothing but the baby suc so they put me 4 tablets in me ,i felt a lot of pain and passed the baby suc but it was bigger then shows on ultrasound and then i felt a lot of pain and passed exectly like what you said that white thing white on the out side then after 3 min i felt a lot of pain and passed another one ,pls help me tell me what that was i thing that myne was babies twins and they told me that i have only a baby suc if you now what that white thing that you saw pls i beg u to tell me ,my heart is broken im sure that myne was my little babies that thy diodint see on the ultrasound ,you know i cant take them off from my mind i m so sad that i listned to them im sure that they kille dmy babies ,if yours was a baby tell me pls because so where myne exectly how u described your

I had a similar yet different experience.  I have been cycling my birth control, a practice that my doctor told me was completely safe and affective.  So far it has been effective.  This is my first time cycling and I started in November and I started experiencing spotting in March so I decided to leave the Nuva Ring out for the what would be the third week of the cycle so that I can just get rid of any lining and start fresh.  I know I wasn't pregnant and had a miscarriage because I took a pregnancy test in February and haven't had sex since that time...hard to be pregnant without sex. 

During my period the long thin piece of tissue came out yesterday (we are in April).  I know longer have insurance so I going to the doctor is not really possible without money.  The only thing I can think it could be is a clot.  I know they are common with birth control.  I read the answers above and I don't know that any one's answer really matches mine.  I didn't have intense pain or cramping any more than when I used to have a period every month.

If anyone knows please help me out.

I am pregnant. 14 weeks. Last week I had some severe pain and bleeding, and I passed some tissue similar to what everyone is talking about. I passed 2 chunks of white tissue that were abuot 2 X 1.5 inches each. I also passed a lot of blood clots. I have no idea what it is, but the baby is fine!!! My midwife is puzzled, and although the pain was severe, I didn't go to the ER or anything.  I believed the baby was fine through it all, and I was worried if I went to the doctor they would immediately jump to the conclusion of a miscarriage.  After a week of taking it easy, both the baby and I are doing great!  I am still really curious, so I have been looking for information on the internet, but every time, tissue passage during pregnancyis connected with miscarriage. I was on the 1st day of my period when I passed 2 small ball shape of tissue (approx size of 20p coin) joined by a strand of tissue (same thickness as string) the colour was that of raw chicken & I was wondering IF I may have had a misscarriage. I have polycystic ovaries & think this may have been a miscarriage known as a blighted ovum.It is making me feel depressed that I may have lost a pregnancy as I have been trying with my Fiance 2 concieve a baby for 4 Months. I don't feel I can tell him that I may have misscarrid as I don't know how he would take it.

I m soo relieved to know that i m not the only one.i have a polycystic left ovary.recently i was diagnosed with it.i got my period after 9months and now on the first day i saw a big white tissue surrounded by a big blood clot..so i m assuming that it might b the cyst that bursted out and it was so painful.i was crying to death.after the discharge i m feeling better.and miscarriage is immposible incase of mine coz i m not sexually active for past 1yr.

I have had this happen before when i was 16 and i am pretty sure it was miscarriage. The reason I found this site was I am supposed to be on my period and I am on B/C I haven't had any bleeding but last night a passed pieces of tissue with no blood... anyone else ever experienced this? What do I do? is it a period with out blood?

I just had the discharge happen three times today for the first time i started my cycle yesterday but i was just diagnose with cervical cancer stage 3 I'm scared to go to the ER they mite keep me but i have surgery on 4/21/14 i hope all is well my pre op is tomorrow so they will check me

Your doctor should know that when he put you on the progesterone you would she endometrial tissue since that is one of the major reasons it is prescribed! As for all the rest yes it is endometrial tissue due to the hormones you are taking to not get pregnant. Whatever hormone pill or shot you sre taking has progesterone in it. Wish you well!
