Very heavy bleeding after missing pills

I missed two birth control pills (seasonique) and started bleeding heavily. I continued to take the pills for a couple of weeks, but the bleeding did not stop. I was told I should throw my pack away and get a new one, so I did. Can I start taking the new pack now or do I need to wait? This is my third week bleeding now and it's heavier than ever. I need to change my pad every couple of hours. I'm worried that I may become anemic if the bleeding doesn't stop soon.
