I have been suffering from arthritis for a long time now, and I have tried a lot of medications that were supposedly to help me with my condition. None of them showed satisfying results, only time they did, side effects were too serious. Latest of disappointments was Voltaren that didnt work for my arthritis at all. What should I do?

Voltaren is actually Diclofen, drug that is one of many antiinflammatoric drug, without steroid structures within it. It eases the pain and slows down the inflammation, but the main point is that it does not stop completely that process. They affect changes on bones in a very small percentage. Perhaps you could ask your doctor for some more potent medications, with a lot stronger effect than Voltaren has. Perhaps Enbrel, Etanercept?
