I'm 17 and just had sex for the first time at the beginning of the month, without a condom, and as gross as this may sound I was on my period. It stopped two or three days after, and I'm pretty sure I'm pregnant. I just have a gut feeling that I'm pregnant, but both of the tests that I took were negative, what do I do? Do I wait and take another test in a few days or just accept the results that I was given?

Hi Guest,
How many days after your period STARTED did you have sex? How long is your period?
You normally won't ovulate until between about days 11-16 of your cycle, day 1 is when your period starts. Sperm can survive up to about 5 days - max.
So if you had sex before about day 6 it would be unlikely you'd get pregnant.
You need to wait at least two weeks after having sex before a home test will become accurate. Mind you, false negatives are VERY common, false positives are VERY rare. The tests are really only accurate when they read "pregnant."
