I recently gained a stone in weight over 6 weeks after knee surgery simply because i was totally immobile and in bed. Now i am walking around i have realised that none of my clothes fit anymore and it is upsetting. I have always been healthy and for the last ten years have been the same weight (minus/plus a few pounds here and there).

Will the weight gain come off naturally just by going from being immobile to a little more active again.. I am watching what i eat. I can't go the gym for at least a year post op and as i work long hours more exercise just isnt feasible. Please help!

I am only 27 years old and had just gotten confident with my figure prior to surgery.

Any advice much appreciated,
