neuropathy
I have the same thing going on , still don't have answers but I think anxiety and nerve issues are at the root.
also check bp, TIA could influence nerve damage.
Do you have trouble sleeping?

I have also had the same thing happen to me I never heard of anyone say exactly how I describe it. the werid feeling in the head is like nerves or something being pulled and the eye pain feels like it behind the eye as well. I also feel like I pulled muscles in my back it gets to the point I cant move. let me know if you figure out whats wrong.

I thought I was going crazy until I found this webpage. I too have a weird sensations in my head. For me, they move around. One time it will be on the left side and then on the right and sometimes in the back. I would describe the weird sensations as very localized like1 to 3 inches in diameter. Slightly painful but not really a "headache". There is no dizziness or blurred eyes. The pain is like someone is pinching my brain. Recently I had a Pulmonary Embolism (PE). They put me on blood thinners. This weird pain started right about the same time as the PE. I keep feeling like I have a tumor growing or something, but that would be in one spot, not moving around. I also can't help but think that it might be like a blood pressure deal and my arteries or veins in my brain are bulging and getting ready to rupture. I asked my doctor and he basically shrugged it off.

I must say, I am happy to have found this site, I have been deciding to go to the doctors AGAIN, but when I do, they can't find anything. Here's my deal. Over ten years ago, I was hearing this whooshing sound in my right side of my ear, until I had to have an angiogram, what did they find? Nothing, a waste of $6000.00 with a clean bill of health. Okay to fast speed things up, two years ago, I had the same thing happen again, but it would come back ever once in a while, I decided to have a MRI, only to hear the Docs. say they didn't see/find anything, again a clean bill of health, which I am thankful for. Here tonight I'm sitting on my couch, as I type this email, to have a cotton ball in my right ear,(for relief, it suffocates the sound), but not only am I hearing the lightly whooshing sound, but I am feeling a weird feeling/sensation in my head, it feels like a pull, it doesn't hurt, but I know it's something there, very annoying. It feels like someone braided my hair very tight, and pulling on it from the roots (if you know what I mean), but it doesn't hurt, just a pull at the scalp. Any suggestions? Could it be nerves? or something in the ear, instead of the brain, because these MRI's I'm having done is show nothing, in two different states. First in Atlanta, Ga. at Emory University and second done here in Los Angeles at Cedars Medical Center..I'm clueless.. Thanks everybody

Has anyone ever had cramps in the base of skull and neck that feel like chrlie horse's you get in your legs sometimes? I also have weird sensations in head (not associated with these cramps). I will get numb feeling in head, hear anything from a buzz to a roar in my ears, feel like I'm leaving my body, feel extremely hot and sweat profusely from waist up only and then vomit. I know this sounds crazy but these are my symptoms. I feel like I'm dying. They are so scarey that I end up having panic/anxiety attack with racing heart and difficulty breathing. I have had 6 total in the last 7 months. Any ideas?

It's anxiety. You don't have to feel anxious to have anxiety. I have the same thing. It sucks, but you just have to try your best to ignore it or live with it.
